Pub13 - Restaurantul Cetății

Great restaurant, even greater food The mix of medieval and modern decorations and light makes the atmosphere very unique. The service was great, friendly and the food was brought very fast. About the food itself, it was well priced, uniquely prepared and very delicious (for example, the patty was cooked on the stove, then placed into dough and put into an oven - so the final product is a perfect and well cooked burger) Highly recommend the restaurant, it's a hidden gem in plain sight! It doesn't get better than this

Such a cool interior here. Service is great. The food is hit or miss - generally good but some things can be too rich in flavor or oil.

The food was amazing. The ciorbe were the best. we had one of each kind and they were all delicious! Best we have had in Romania. The grilled meats are good, but Romanians like to cook everything well done.

Ribs were chewy and fatty, but that is standard for ribs. They didn't have much meat on. The potatoes weren't cooked for long enough so were chewy rather than soft, and baked in too much oil. I could only get another drink when the plates needed collecting, I couldn't see a waiter until then. But he was lovely and we had a chat about our travel plans. The setting was beautiful and the place mat gives you a complete history of the place. You find it by walking towards the 1930s column. The desserts were fantastic, I'd recommend the baked crepe in vanilla and cinnamon sauce!

Incredible atmosphere. waiter was very attentive and professional. Truly amazing service. Felt really well looked after. Small details like us ordering one dessert even though there was two of us and the waiter bringing two sets of cutlery without even asking. Food was some of the best I’ve had in Romania. Only very tiny issue was the bottled water that was overly expensive.

"Probably the best food in Alba Iulia" is their slogan, and I have to say, it's absolutely true! Pub 13 offers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. And the food? Simply excellent! We opted for traditional Transylvanian dishes and were incredibly impressed by both the taste and the stunning presentation. Every bite was a delight. Beyond the fantastic food, the ambiance is truly unique. The decor transports you to another world, making you feel like a Templar knight or a Saxon from centuries past. The decorations are exquisite, almost museum-quality, adding so much to the overall experience. From the incredible atmosphere to the delicious food and top-notch service, Pub 13 earns a full 5 stars. We will definitely be returning!
